…with a very large support crew…
…who pitch our campsites…
…and prepare amazing and hearty meals…
…in all sorts of places.
The natural scenery will range from stunning…
..to interesting..
…and leafy.
We’ll bird mostly from little traveled roads or trails…
…in good forest…
…with amazing birds…
…whose names…
…we’ll soon know as Paul Holt is a brilliant leader. (Here trying Bhutan’s national sport)
We’ll look at everything…
…large, here a Golden Langur…
…and small…
…and we’ll be immersed throughout in Bhutan’s Bhuddist culture…
…whose monasteries or Dzongs are everywhere…
…at least one of which, Punakha, we may be able to visit…
…and who knows who might be converted.
We’ll encounter lots of local Bhutanese on our travels…
…and they’re a happy lot…
…even if the sheep have gone missing.
It won’t be easy to leave…
…but we’ll have wonderful memories.
