Born and raised on a farm surrounded by rainforest near Kakum National Park, Robert Ntakor has spent almost his entire life inside the Upper Guinea rainforest. Robert has a genuine passion for wildlife and particularly for birds, and as a child he spent most days deep in the forest watching and studying them; his ability to spot and identify birds by song is unrivalled in Ghana.  Now 38, Robert worked with the Ghana Wildlife Division as a wildlife guide for more than 10 years. He holds a diploma in tourism, and has many years of experience in leading birding tours.
