"Mr. Jara is a gifted birder. Besides his great familiarity and knowledge of Portuguese birds, his excellent English and enthusiasm for all things Portuguese made this a very special trip."

"João's enthusiasm and willingness to share his vast knowledge made the trip extra special."
- Lillian F. on Portugal in Spring

"João's guiding skills are superb. Also he is very congenial, a quality sometimes lacking in birdwatching tour guides. He was also careful to accomodate my food allergies."
