A Turkish birder who lives in the heart of Istanbul, Emin Yoğurtçuoğlu is one of the country’s most enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and enjoyable birding guides. Fluent in English and a qualified wildlife specialist, Emin has led and participated in many research and birding trips across the range of Turkey’s landscapes and habitats. A member of the Turkish Rarities Committee, he has published several identification papers in ornithological journals and has found a number of “firsts” in Turkey and in other countries. He enjoys sharing with others his life-long passion for the birds of Turkey and beyond.
