Dick Forsman

Dick Forsman lives near Helsinki, Finland where he works as a freelance tour leader, author, and ornithological consultant. He is widely regarded as the foremost authority on the identification of Western Palearctic raptors, this backed up by his numerous papers in various birding journals and his landmark book, Handbook to the Identification of the Raptors of Europe and the Middle East. He has been leading tours for over 20 years, concentrating on Finland and the Old World, in particular Africa.
Dick has led or co-led our Northern Finland and Arctic Norway tour almost every year since its inception.
