Ann Haynes-Sutton Ph.D., is a conservation ecologist who lives and works in Jamaica, where she owns and manages Marshall's Pen. She consults on conservation, protected areas, ecological assessments, conservation education and ecotourism.
Ann has been studying birds, ecology, and conservation in Jamaica for more than 30 years. She is the lead author (with Audrey Downer and Robert Sutton) of "A photographic guide to the birds of Jamaica" published by A&C Black in the UK, and Princeton University in the USA. She provides consulting and carries out her own research on seabirds. She also supports organizations that conserve birds and their habitats, including Caribbean Coastal Area Management Foundation http://ccamf.org.jm and BirdsCaribbean. She is secretary to the board of BirdsCaribbean http://www.birdscaribbean.org
