Success in Central Colombia

We just ended another fantastic trip to Central Colombia!

It’s hard to pick the best birds of the trip amongst almost 350 wonderful species contacted in only nine days, but here follow some of the best sightings of the tour:

Besides these very memorable sightings, we also had fantastic views of Crested and Sooty Ant-Tanagers, White-mantled Barbet, Chestnut-crowned Antpitta, Crimson-mantled Woodpecker, Northern Screamer, Multicolored Tanager, Cauca Guan, Russet-throated Puffbird, Buffy Helmetcrest, Muisca Antpitta, Red-hooded Tanager and so many more!

We also visited several hummingbird feeding stations and saw no less than 42 species of these fascinating birds!

And, obviously, besides the incredible diversity of birds, we were amazed by the incredible diversity of flowers, orchids, butterflies, etc. Definitely a fantastic and relaxing tour!
