Jim Brock
Jim Brock and his wife Joan live in Tucson, Arizona. Jim has been studying Arizona’s butterflies for 25 years. He is co-author of Butterflies of Southeastern Arizona and Butterflies of North America (in the Kaufman Focus Guides series), and specializes in butterfly life histories. Currently Jim is working on a guide to the caterpillars of North America and is surveying the butterflies of northern Mexico. Past survey work has led him from Southeastern Arizona to Brazil. A Mexican roadside-skipper that he discovered, Amblyscirtes brocki, is named after him.
