Richard Lewington lives in Oxfordshire, England, where he works as a freelance illustrator, specializing in insects and other invertebrates. Among many other books, he has illustrated the new Collins Field Guide to Butterflies of Britain and Europe, the award-winning Butterflies of Britain and Ireland and the recently published Field Guide to the Dragonflies and Damselflies of Great Britain and Ireland. Richard is also a keen birdwatcher.
