Kathi McIvor was born and raised in northeastern Oklahoma, spending much of her youth on her grandparents ranch. Her love for the outdoors was nurtured by her ranch life where her grandparents taught her about wild herbs, local animals and hard work. Her childhood pets were often pond pets, an orphaned fox cub, baby rabbits and grasshoppers.

Kathi lives with her husband Mac on an acreage north of Tucson. Her hobbies continue to involve the outdoors, some of which includes hiking, biking and camping. She loves her position with WINGS and says it is a dream come true.
