Chris Wood
Chris Wood was born and raised along the Front Range of Colorado. He has been watching birds as long as he can remember. While Chris’s parents weren’t birders they actively supported his birdwatching and nearly every family vacation turned into a birding trip. While he did go to Disneyland as a kid, his more vivid California memories are of Yellow-billed Magpie, Mountain Quail and offshore wildlife. By the time Chris was a teenager, he had already led trips for local bird clubs…although he admits his mom or dad usually had to drive the vehicle.
