Antero Topp
An enthusiastic birder since the age of 10, Antero Topp has traveled the world for birds, leading tours and traveling with friends. After traditional bird trips in his school years, he developed an interest in banding and in the work of bird observatories in particular. He has been on birding trips thoughout the world, both as a leader and travelling with friends who value him for his sense of humor and, at least in the case of Americans, excellent English. A naval architect by profession, Antero now divides his time between tour leading and running a publishing company specializing in bird books. He is widely recognized as a leading expert on Estonia.
