Thanks very much for a really great weeks birding in Gambia-I had a wonderful time and it has whetted my appetite for further trips to Sub-Saharan Africa- I hope in the not too distant future. Thanks also for looking after us so well in what must have been sometimes quite difficult circumstances for you. Hope your voice has recovered! I have spent many hours in the past few days trying to locate the Penduline Tit which has been showing intermittently at Strumpsaw in the past week-so far without success- but I will keep trying-at least it’s not so cold today.

    Best wishes

James, You must be the best birding guide in the world, my friend. Mongolia was unforgettable (hi, donna!), and i’m preparing to see you next week in amsterdam on the way to ghana for more birds. Keep up the excellent work! -ken in birmingham, alabama
